This is a comprehensive and down-to-earth guide to dog training. It offers common-sense instruction based on real experience. The training techniques are effective and generally easy to learn, some require a little more effort (dog whispering for example) but all are capable of producing dramatic changes in your relationship with your dog. If you don’t enjoy reading on your computer or don’t want to print out an e-book this may be just the dog training guide for you. I find the ability to hear the way Dove uses her voice and to see her body language to be a real help in developing my own training. This book speaks with authority and is obviously based on plenty of experience. The author clearly demonstrates with a step-by-step system that it can be a joy to walk your dog on a leash and that when you ask him to sit and stay, he will. It is obvious that Lafave has a broad knowledge and understanding of canine behavior. I found his book to be easy to use and the lessons very simple to apply. This is a great guide though not as thorough as my favourite, Secrets of Dog Training. I do however highly recommend this book over any of the other guides available online. Read Full Review
